"Sonata, remain close by!" Drekar scolded. Well, perhaps 'scold' was too harsh a term, but it was raised slightly above his usual calm pitch, and the change was all too apparent to the intelligent eevee. Flicking her tail at Drekar while giggling madly, the eevee continued her bounding forward, excited to be out and about once again.

Drekar hurried after, worry making him speed along. There was nothing too dangerous here that he knew of, but it didn't hurt to be careful. Plague or evolved pokemon were a danger in and of themselves, and there was always a chance of S.E.E.K operatives hidden away somewhere. Drekar really didn't want to lose any more pokemon. Memories of his previous team, a charming Sableye and a powerful Garchomp, being ruthlessly torn to pieces  only a few weeks earlier were all too clear in Drekar's mind, and the last thing the trainer wanted was an early repeat of that tragedy. Drekar was determined, this time he would do right by his pokemon.

"Sonata please, come back here before you get lost, or worse"

A pale skinned man ambled through the forest in his uniform of a dark blue shirt and pants with a white tank top underneath the button up shirt. Harvey yawned and placed his hands behind his head, continuing nonchalantly as he walked along in a path a previous pokemon had carved in the undergrowth. He blinked as he looked up at the sky, clear as day it was. He had hoped for some rain or some clouds to cross lazily across the sky. The man stopped when he heard someone talk to someone else by the name of Sonata. Was it a citizen and his child maybe? A small child perhaps? What were they doing in a plagued forest with rampaging pokemon such as this?

He followed the sound of the voice until he heard the thrashing of the bushes as if they were being trampled. They definitely were not on a path. He made his way closer, he too making noise but purposely. Besides, if it were a fellow SEEK member, he would not have a problem. If it were a SILPH member, they would have the time to run. If it was a Citizen, then he would have trouble. He thought of the trouble of having to escort a citizen out of the forest and the paper work that would follow on the report. All he ever did was paperwork, as much as he hated it, it was the only thinking keeping him to his job with his slakoth like nature.

The rustling of the foliage made Drekar freeze, the man clamping his mouth shut before he could call Sonata again. But it would be naive to believe that he hadn't been heard earlier. The rustling of the leaves suggested human footsteps, though Drekar supposed a two-legged pokemon could be making those noises as well. He doubted that whatever was approaching was pokemon, however- pokemon generally ambled along silently, unless they were plague'd, and then, they'd be sprinting. So there was no guarantee that whatever was coming was human, but Drekar quickly decided it was the most likely option. He would have to think quickly, or risk being in a fair amount of trouble from the law- SEEK didn't exactly welcome trespassers.

Well then, he would have to look like he belonged. Fortunately, while Drekar wasn't one of the many Mercenaries escaped from SEEK, he had underwent enough training via SILPH to know how to look and to act the part. Drekar had been in more than one infiltration mission over the years, after all. By the time the stranger had entered Drekar's line of site (and now Drekar was much more sure in his assumption that this stranger was SEEK- no one else would dare stride through a restricted area so confidently), the albino was standing confidently himself, nodding at Harvey as if he had all the reason in the world to be there.

The appearance of the man was enough to throw Drekar off guard, however. Here was a man white hair as white and eyes as red as his own- a one in a million encounter. Sonata dashed back happily towards her trainer, then froze upon seeing the new guy, glancing from Drekar to Harvey in utter shock. Drekar was quick to recover, however. No more than a millisecond had passed before he was completely neutral again, nodding to the (maybe?) SEEK operative. "Greetings. I didn't know of any other albinos in S.E.E.K. Apologies if we disturbed your scouting." Drekar dipped his head to Harvey, posture completely relaxed, face expressionless.

(Sonata was still gaping in shock at her trainer's new clone)

Harvey was relieved to find that it was not a child, but a man like himself with a pokemon that must have wondered off. He was surprised himself to find someone with white hair and his similar red eyes, except more of a pink color from the looks of it. He remained relaxed as he answered, "Huh, I don't remember seeing anybody around the place that's albino...you must be from the other side of the core correct? I usually stay in encore."

He knew that if this person was SILPH, he was giving them the perfect opportunity to weave a lie. He didn't mind though, for he knew the rebel's reasons. Although Harvey worked with S.E.E.K., he worked to help SEEK with finding a cure for all of this disease. The oppression and rules of the citizens were absolutely terrible in his opinion, but he valued pokemon more than the humans. He remembered the legend of the corrupted Meloetta, explaining how humans were responsible for the plagued pokemon. He pushed the thought out of his mind and returned to the present, looking to the eevee, the evolutionary pokemon that had a lot of potential, "Cute pokemon, eevee right? Looks like its kind of confused with it gawking at us like that."

Was this man stupid, or was he purposely giving Drekar a way out? What SEEK member so quickly accepted that a stranger was one of them, even with Drekar's (decent, in his humble opinion) acting skills? This man hadn't even asked Drekar for an ID. Well, one didn't look a gift ponyta in the mouth, and Drekar allowed himself a moment of gratitude to the pokegods that be before nodding politely. "Indeed. My first day scouting this part of the core- and first day on the job with that little one as well" he nodded affectionately towards Sonata. The affection, at least, wasn't faked. Drekar loved his pokemon, and even the tragedy of losing so many already wouldn't stop the trainer from already feeling attached to the little furball.

"Yes, Sonata here is an eevee. Have you a pokemon ready of your own?" Drekar's eyebrows knitted down in (admittedly faked) worry. "I've heard of a Plagued outbreak on Route 3. It's far enough from here to not be of immediate concern, but you never know, that disease can spread all too quickly for my tastes" Drekar had finally managed to sidle close enough to Sonata to scoop her up, and he did so, quickly lifting the eevee into his arms before she could squirm back out and dash off again. The eevee, deciding she liked this new vantage point, immediately curled up in Drekar's arms and began to purr. Arceus, he hoped that she wouldn't go as quickly as the others had.

The man nodded, "Yeah, though I doubt she would want to come out right now will all of this undergrowth around here. If I called her out just to show her off she would probably go into a fit!" He laughed as his hand touched Crystal's pokeball, a Lapras. His first pokemon. He had not fought a single battle with her in a long time, so she had probably gotten weaker and even forgotten some of her moves over the years. He would need to train her back up, help her become strong enough for him to challenge the stations and get out of this enclosed circle of oppression.

He was relieved that this person was either not stupid enough to continue pressing that he was with S.E.E.K. or really was with S.E.E.K.. If he had revealed himself Harvey would have been forced pretty much to detain the soul fighting for the people, and work on all the paperwork that followed. Oh the paperwork that would follow! He decided to carry on the conversation, "I used to have two other pokemon, a Rattata named Joey, he didn't like to fight and I released him a long time ago, and a Joltik named Cymo, he was a baby so I gave him to a pokecenter before coming here. The two wouldn't make it over here so all I have left is Crystal. She's a bit over protective, but what pokemon isn't the least bit protective?"

Drekar nodded, relaxing ever so slightly. This man didn't seem willing to press Drekar for information, and while Drekar knew it would be foolish to let his guard down completely, he could at least allow himself a little small talk. Introvert or not, Drekar could only take so much of tramping through the wilds with nothing but an eevee for company. It wasn't that he disliked Sonata, not at all, but sometimes the hole that had been left by Diamond the Sableye and Chase the Garchomp was all too apparent. Those two had been with Drekar since the start of his journey, and, as wonderful as Sonata was, she just would never be able to replaced those two.

He quickly pushed the thoughts away. Dwelling on dead companions was the surest way to get yourself killed out in these wilds, and Drekar wasn't at all ready to die himself yet. There was still too much in the world that needed doing. It didn't hurt to talk about them though, so long as he didn't let himself be overcome by their memories. "I had another two pokemon of my own as well. A Garchomp and Sableye. Amazing pair." Drekar didn't elaborate any further on the subject, however, instead hurriedly turning to the subject of Crystal. "So this Crystal's a pretty big pokemon, I'm assuming? Or she doesn't like the woods?" he nodded to the happy-as-a-clamperl Eevee in her arms. "And I can agree with what you say about overprotective pokemon. I've had this one barely a few days and just the other day she tried to 'save' me from a scary -looking bush" Drekar could still recall the incident clearly in his mind- Sonata dashing forward to attack the otherwise-normal bush, trying her best to look intimidating and failing miserably.

"Oh, apologies, I've been rather rude" Drekar shifted Sonata to one arm so he could extend his right hand "Drake. A pleasure meeting you" the name was skewed, of course, but it didn't hurt to be too careful.

Harvey shook the man's hand firmly, "Harvey, pleasure meeting you too!" He smiled and continued about Crystal, "Eh more of both, she's a water type, she's big, and she can't walk much with flippers." He laughed again, as he imagined his Lapras attempting to walk on mere flippers. He knew she was probably hearing every word of his from the pokeball and was itching to ram him for the words of teasing. He gave a content sigh, "Lovely day out, though I prefer days with a bit of clouds in it. I'm surprised no wild pokemon have come along yet."

He knew that sunny days were perfect for pokemon to walk about and gather food for themselves or any young they might have. He wondered if his stomping along or this man that named himself Drake's shouting to his Eevee had scared them all off, which was a bit disappointing to him since he would rather train his pokemon up a bit. Who knew how much Crystal's strength had weakened? With his need to get to the other districts, he would need her to be strong once more. He also knew that the lapras herself might enjoy being strong as well.

Drekar nodded companionably, shaking the man's hand in return. "Oh, it's hard to work with a water type on land" he sympathized. "At least she has flippers. I knew a man once who insisted on bringing his Goldeen along wherever he went. Needless to say that didn't end well. Of course that was well over twelve years ago, so who knows what happened to them." Drekar didn't mention the obvious- that man would have either been forcibly recruited or his Goldeen killed- but there was no need to sour the conversation with something that the both of them knew. Instead he maintained a cheerful (entirely uncharacteristic, but, he was acting, after all) air, nodding at the comment about the weather. "Indeed. Best watch what you say though, wild pokemon might hear yours words and come flocking towards us" he offered Harvey a fleeting grin.

Speak of the Houndour... No sooner had the words left Drekar's mouth a branch cracked loudly in a direction east-ish of both SILPH and SEEK. Drekar was immediately on alert, turning to gaze intently at the direction the noise had come from. Sonata, all business, for once, hopped out of Drekar's arms growling (not-so-)ferociously. Was another clone of her trainer gonna pop out or something?

Clicking and clanking sounded in the area as a metallic pineco made its way towards them. It released its monotonous "Pineco," sound clip as it seemed to stare at the two for a moment. It began to spin once more except faster and faster with each complete spin, it began to spin and dance on the floor like a top, tearing through the plants below it as it neared the trainers, preparing a Tackle Attack for its foes.

Harvey stopped whatever he was going to say as the pineco showed itself, "Attackbot Pineco!" he spoke, "It must be one of the ones that escaped years ago!" Harvey looked to his pokeball containing his lapras, wondering if he should have her take care of it. This thing was obviously high in attack, but Lapras was known for its ability to take hits. He could catch this thing as a last resort if things got hairy, or at least distract it with a pokeball though he would rather not waste a pokeball. He looked to Drake, "Think you can handle this? Also uh...sorry for Jinxing us!" He rubbed the back of his head with a sheepish smile before looking back to the advancing spinning top like pokemon. It repeated the same sound clip over and over again, Harvey could already tell that the pokemon could not recognize them in its database since it was outdated, this thing thought they were SILPH!

Drekar's expression had gone completely neutral again, he stared down the Attackbot with a level gaze. Mentally, the trainer was cursing himself. He knew better than to wander around without a trained pokemon. Being with Chase and Diamond for so long had allowed him to grow soft...that pair would have been able to take this thing down easily. Ah well. If Drekar could train pokemon up to that level once, he could do so again.

"No need to apologize, the fault was mine for not being more on alert" Drekar's gaze never left the Fake Pineco, and as it began whirling, preparing for attack, he slid his glance over to Sonata once, muttering "Dodge it" quietly to the eevee. "I'm not sure if I can handle this" the trainer admitted, palm out towards Sonata in a 'wait' motion. The ATTACKbot had assumed (correctly, in this case), that the eevee was a SILPH's pokemon, and was now setting its sites on her. The trainer carefully picked up a long branch from the ground, moving slowly as to avoid regaining the pineco's attention. "Sonata's still quite young. But we'll do our best. No need to trouble yourself if you don't want to unless it looks like things are going badly."

It was at that point the Pineco attacked, surging forward towards sonata while uttering its monotone-cry loudly. Sonata tensed as the metal creature surged towards her, but didn't move until Drekar nodded to her, dodging the attack in the nick of time. Drekar chose that moment to step forward, bringing the branch down as hard as he could towards the ATTACKbot's metal head. "Sonata, Tail Whip and then Tackle" he barked, immediately backing up before the bot could set its sites on him.

Sonata meeped an agreement and dashed forward to ram into the bot, tail wagging madly as she did so. Hopefully her tail whip would have the affect of lowering the creature's defense even more, and they could finish the battle before one of them got seriously injured, or worse.

The Pineco made some loud static noises as it was knocked offline for a few heartbeats and rebooted itself just in time to begin spinning once more. It spun even faster this time, yet it made no advancements on the two trainers and one pokemon. It seemed to be using Protect, the spinning seemed to be fast enough to strike aside any oncoming attacks that could seriously harm it. Harvey decided to suggest, "Maybe we could run or something as it wastes it time?" The man kept his hand in his pocket, which held Crystal, his Lapras. He did not wish to release the lapras into the open and dangers of the robotic pokemon unless it was absolutely necessary. He turned to check to see if they had a clear escape route behind them.

The bushes were dense and it seemed like it would be difficult to travel through them fast enough without tripping and getting caught. He looked back to the pineco, and wondered if they could trick it into thinking the two were powerful enough into continuing its protect attack. While it was busy trying to defend itself, the two could edge around it to a more clear path and run like mad men. Before he could voice his suggestion, another pokemon decided to have some fun with the two...

As Sonata jumped off of the Pineco and rolled out of the way, Drekar continued whacking at the Pineco with his stick. He doubted it was doing much, if any, damage, but it would at least fool the machine into thinking it was under constant attack. The stick didn't look like it could last much longer though. The trainer took the opportunity to peruse the area as Harvey had searching for any means of escape. The path was annoying far away, but maybe if he could get the machine offline somehow....

And that's when the second pokemon decided to make it's appearance. Drekar's grip on the stick tightened as he saw what it was. Forretress were nothing to laugh at, and this one looked angry the intruders in its territory. Yup, they had to get out of here- even without the attackbot bothering them, there was no way they could defeat something that strong, especially not without Chase and Diamond.

Unless....maybe the ATTACKbot could prove more useful than Drekar expected. "Sonata, Tackle it again." he told his eevee, voice blank despite the worry churning at Drekar's gut. The handler quickly whacked at the pineco again, pausing its spinning mometarily. She gave his a cheerful squeak of agreement, ramming her shoulder into the attackbot to send it offline once again, and Drekar dashed forward to heft the creature up, turning and throwing it (well, as much as he could throw something that heavy) in the direction of the Forretress. Hopefully the two would be distracted enough by each-other to buy Drekar and Harvey some time.

"Now's our chance, let's go." Drekar returned Sonata with one hand while he grabbed Harvey's arm and tugged, not caring if he hurt the man--better a little bruised than dead. Without waiting for a response, Drekar began dashing off in the direction of the path- if Harvey chose to follow, Drekar would keep pace with him, but if the handler decided he rather remain and watch the battle, Drekar wasn't going to risk obvious death on that. Still, he hoped that Harvey would decide to follow him rather than stay and die. Drekar knew the man was an enemy at the best, but he still seemed a decent sort, and while Drekar wouldn't hesitate at killing when necessary, he doubted by then that this man was enough of a threat to merit leaving at the mercy of a rampaging Forretress. "Quickly, before they realize that we're not there"

Harvey was a man of common sense, he knew he was unable to handle the strength and defense of a forretress. The white haired man turned and followed the shape of the other "SEEK" member. He tripped over a few weeds that had decided to tangle in each other and make the perfect opportunities to trip. He caught himself each time, his panic only growing and forcing himself to try and go faster in fear of the pokemon being behind him and catching up. He was no fool, he knew that he had every right to be terrified of the strong pokemon that was probably known to be one of the heaviest bug type pokemon known to man.

He stopped only when he nearly ran into the other man, causing him to try and dodge around the boy and fall awkwardly on his side next to Drake, "Ouch," he spoke before popping back up quickly by using the rush of adrenaline the powerful pokemon had given him through fear, "I'm fine!" he added quickly. He looked back to the way they had came, it seemed like the forretress was either unable to follow or did not bother to follow as it had something to play with thrown directly on it.
"You?" he asked Drake.

Drekar was relieved when he heard the scuffle of the other man following him, but the relief was quickly outweighed by fear as he reminded himself of what was just behind the man- a Pineco and its stronger, much deadlier, evolution. The trainer continued sprinting until they were a fair distance away, only slowing to a halt when the noise from the large creatures faded away to nothing. The only sounds in the forest now were the usual chirping and rustling of everyday forest life, combined with Drekar and Harvey's panting.

The trainer had another scare, however, when something large and heavy crashed into his back, causing him to stumble forward and fall, just barely catching himself on his arms before he got a faceful of dirt. Sonata was immediately out of her pokeball again, nudging at Drekar's face in worry and snuggling his face, only really succeeding in smothering him rather than helping anything.

Drekar expertly distangled the worried Eevee from his face, allowing her to curl up in his arms once more as he stood carefully. "I'm alright as well" he assured the other man, scanning the area once more for danger. "And yourself?"

Now that things had calmed down a bit, Drekar's earlier curiosity bubbled to the surface once more. "I've never met another albino, you know" he commented idly, heart still pounding as he scanned the area warily for more trouble.

"I said I was fine," he chuckled slightly, his panting causing the chuckle to die quickly. He finally caught his breath enough to speak once more, "Sorry about the whole crashing into you thing, I couldn't stop. Also I haven't seen another albino before as well, though I'm slightly surprised you haven't heard of me. I'm notorious in my sector for all of the slacking off I do." He gave a devious grin and asked, "What about you, Snowball? Got anything you're known for, other than being a Snowball like myself?" Harvey had no idea why he had started calling albinos Snowballs at that moment, he shrugged it off mentally since he must have just picked it up from someone that had called him that before that he did not quite remember.

(Ahahaha, that's hilarious xD "I can't help being attractive" And no worries :) by the way, now that we've completed a page, do I immediately update Sonata with her first level or wait till the thread is over?)

"Apologies" Drekar mentally cursed the slip of thought, minor as it was. There was no forgetting that this man was SEEK, even if he did seem friendly, and if Drekar made the foolish mistake now of asking a question that had already been answered, who knew what sorts of mistakes he could be making later? "And not to worry. Better that you were going too fast and couldn't stop than going to slow and being caught by that" he nodded in the direction the pokemon had come from, mentally reminding himself that he needed to catch a new pokemon, and soon. Reliable as Sonata had been in their last battle, she just didn't have the power of his old pokemon, and Drekar wouldn't be comfortable without a fully-trained pair again.

Well, it seemed as if they were back to small talk now. Drekar took advantage of the momentary break they had to look Sonata over for injuries while he listened to the other man speak. Known for slacking off, eh? Well, that explained the lack of inquiry earlier. And it could mean that Drekar could breathe a little easier, knowing that conflict might be that much more easily avoided. "I hear a lot of rumors about the 'white one'" he admitted with a sheepish grin. "Confused me, thinking that it was me they were talking about. Meeting you now actually means a lot more of those rumors finally makes sense."

He paused, mind flicking through possibilities of a viable rumor. What was common enough that it would probably have fallen on a standard SEEK member's ears and wouldn't be viewed with immediate suspicion? "I am known for going off on my own a lot" he admitted. Not entirely a lie- Drekar was known for exactly that in SILPH. "I guess I was always a bit overconfident before." Again, he didn't breach on the subject, instead switching the focus back to Harvey. "A slacker, eh? Don't enjoy the job all that much?"

Harvey stopped and thought for a bit, "Yeah, it's a lot of work, i'd rather return to being one of the lower ranks but being a chief does have its advantages!" He paused again, should he tell this man his plans to bail on S.E.E.K. once the cure had been found for the plagued pokemon? If he had been with SILPH, the man probably would be uncaring about it, but if he really did turn out to be S.E.E.K., Harvey could lose his job and be branded traitor to the region. They might even take Crystal away! The risk was too much, so he kept silent on that subject. He took out his pokeball containing his lapras and looked inside at the miniature resting form of his water pokemon inside the pokeball, she had been like the mother he never had to him even though she was only his pokemon. He just could not risk losing her and betraying her by letting them take her like that!

He did not mind much for the man's explanation of what he was infamous for, since it was a bit typical for anyone. Harvey instead spoke with a sigh, "Is there anything out here we actually stand a chance against? I mean come on, ATTACKRobots, Plagued Pokemon, and even Fully Evolved Pokemon. There needs to be some kind of area to train pokemon easily rather than just going about and destroying what little trees there are here to try and rack up strength..."

Drekar nodded in consideration. "Are the advantages worth it, though? I mean, I doubt I'd ever be offered a promotion" he added hastily. "But I'm curious as to what would make you accept such a position if you don't really enjoy the work as much. Not that I blame you." Satisfied that Sonata was alright, the trainer returned his eevee to her pokeball. "Considering how much paperwork just us seekers have, your workload must be terrifying!"

He nodded at Harvey's idea, rather surprised and a bit impressed by it. Many years ago, back before the cursed Song, there had been places exactly like what Harvey was describing. Without the threat of plagued or bots, the wilds were a lot safer, and it was much easier to find weaker pokemon to train against. Nowadays, the powerful plagued and bots had easily destroyed most of the weaker pokemon. Any pokemon encountered here would be powerful--dangerous to train against. "I suppose trainer pokemon could always spar against one another." he mused. "But that kind of training only works so well, considering that both sides would be holding back to avoid injuring the other. A reserve filled solely with weaker pokemon to train against would be most useful, however."

"True," Harvey sighed, "Man, I miss the days when I was what? 16? And none of this mess even existed," he paused for a moment, "and now I feel like an old man," he concluded. He looked up at the sky to check the time, not even an hour had passed from the looks of it. Then again, he never was good at telling time using the sun. When the Drake had asked him about why he had even taken the job as Chief he simply said, "The pay is better, and besides, you have more control and are more up-to-date the higher up you are." He left his answer at that before asking, "So which way now?"

Harvey remembered the way back to town, just follow the wall. It was easy to navigate the rings and the core, since all you have to do is follow a wall and a town will eventually be found. Even if it was not the town he would have been looking for, he could at least get directions. He began to wonder if any flying pokemon resided in the forest, if he captured a flying pokemon then perhaps he could train it and evolve it, then he could just fly to different places with ease! He would still need to pass through the stations to certain districts though, or else he would be shot down and his pokemon would be harmed.

"And what are you now? Eighteen?" Drekar asked, a quick grin conveying that he was simply teasing. The smile quickly faded though, as he nodded an agreement to Harvey's words. "It sometimes seems like only a few weeks ago when none of those Plagued existed and the outdoors were actually safe. How time flies" The last sentence was delivered almost sarcastically, accompanied by a wry grin. "More up to date, eh? Does that mean anything's actually changed, or is that still classified information?" wouldn't hurt to do a little digging while he was talking to the man, anyways. It would give Drekar a legitimate excuse for not having fled when he first got the chance, after all.

Of course, staying and chatting did come with its problems. Harvey seemed intent on them sticking together now, and while it was true that Drekar would rather he returned to town as soon as possible, who knew how long this SEEK intended on accompanying him? Did Harvey intend for them to return to headquarters together or something?

After several second of internal debate, Drekar decided that going with Harvey would be more safe than wandering off on his own, especially given what was out there. He could always find an excuse to break away on his own once they were in safety, after all. "My patrol's about over, but I'm still a little rusty on directions in this part of the Core" he pretended to admit. "Just up this way along the wall, right?"

Harvey realized that he may have been revealing too much information and simply gave a smile and spoke, "Classified Intel, sorry Snowball!" You little weasel... Harvey thought, slightly irritated with himself for even revealing that he knew the more up-to-date news of S.E.E.K's progress. He kept Crystal's pokeball in his palm, wishing that he could release the pokemon for some fresh air, but she would have no way of transportation or moving herself around. He wished that there were more lakes in the area, but this was in the center of a forest, lakes would be rare if any at all. The chief rested his arms behind his head and nodded to the other man, "Yeah, if we follow the walls we'll eventually end up near a city. Be it Encore or Rigaudon, though I usually stay away from that area because of the locals, we could find our way around there."

Drekar grinned ruefully. Well, you can't blame a guy for trying. He didn't protest, however, simply nodding his agreement. Riguadon would probably be a bad place to approach, however, considering how easily he'd be recognized there. "Encore is where I'm to report to" he commented nonchalantly. "I suppose if I made a random guess I'd have a fifty/fifty chance of going in the right direction, though I admit I'm not too keen on wandering into Riguadon. I've heard some odd rumors about the locals worshipping some sort of earth god." There were SILPH hideouts in Encore just as there was in Riguadon, so it should be safe no matter what direction the pair decided to go in.

Another telltale rustling of branched made Drekar tense, afraid that the Attackbot and its evolution from earlier had found them again. The appearance of the seedot almost made him laugh out loud in relief- still a danger, but not nearly so much as an attackbot or evolved pokemon. The albino turned towards Harvey. "It's fairly openish around here- if you Crystal has any ranged attacks perhaps she can give this one a shot? I can send Sonata in to keep it from getting too close if need be?" to be honest, however, Drekar would have preferred not to use Sonata. The eevee was already worn from the last battle, and there was no way of telling if a plagued pokemon would be next to pop out of the bushes or somewhat.

Harvey looked to the pokemon, who was also spinning similar to a toddler's toy top like the pineco from earlier. Harvey admitted, there WAS an open space around here. He held up the pokeball and unwrapped his fingers from the ball's top, "Come on out Crystal, show time!"

The sphere opened with a white ray of flashes as the light traveled in a pattern similar to lightning on the open area that was just big enough for the lapras to fit. The light struck the ground and the light formed the shell, flippers, neck, and head of the large water and ice type pokemon. Crystal gave an eager cry as he made her entrance and her head was held high and gracefully as the light broke off of her like shattered ice and revealed her color. She gave another cry as she acknowledged her trainer's order, "Let's lull this thing to sleep to make things easier on us!" The lapras cleared her throat and began to sing a sweet melody, hoping to bring the Seedot into a slumber. Harvey was unaware of the dangerous Bide attack the seedot might wield, but either way, putting the pokemon to sleep was what most would probably consider a smart move.

Ah, so Harvey's Crystal was a Lapras. Admittedly inconvenient in an area like this, though it could have been a lot worse- it could have been a Wailord. She seemed strong, though, and her size would give her a decent advantage in battle, despite the restricted mobility. As the Lapras began to Sing, Drekar decided against sending out Sonata once more. She would only get caught up in the sing attack, and either way, it seemed as if Crystal could handle it. The Seedot was already swaying on its feet, stumbling towards the Lapras in an attempted Tackle. Before it could reach her, however, it fell (or rather rolled) over onto the ground, snoring softly.

Unfortunately, it seemed as if the commotion had attracted yet more unwanted attention.
