Infection and Trouble! [Nuzlocke]

The Pichu huffed and simply went back to his trainer. Kiara wondered where the sickly green Seedot was. It was a zombie if she remembered correctly, infested by the plague and doomed to live even if one of its limbs had been sliced off. She held her Pichu once more, the pichu was once again bored out of his wits.
"Pipipi pichuuuupichu pipi" <Seriously! I'm bored here, someone do something entertaining or I'll die of boredom...>
"Shh, Saix..." She silenced the pichu as she heard something rustle to the side of them. It sounded like it was fast judging by how fast the leaves shook, louder she spoke, "Wh-What was that?"

Colin popped out of the bushes, having lagged behind as they started walking. he had been looking for Oran berries to help with Twayblade's injury and help keep Tammie's mind at peace. The rustles were revealed to have been him speed picking the bright blue berries so as to not be left behind as the girls continued onward. Hearing the waver in Kiara's voice however, he spoke up;
"Sorry.. I didn't mean to scare you..."

Tammie chuckled. It was scarily reminiscent to how Kiara had first encountered her earlier. Perhaps spending so much time around Colin when he had come round to speak with Matthew had rubbed off on her.

Opening his hands, Colin handed a few of the berries to Kiara before wandering over to Tammie and handing all of the remaining berries -except one- to her.
"I figure Twayblade might feel better if she eats these. Oran Berries are useful to keep around too," he smiled.
"Thanks!" grinned Tammie, handing one to the stirring Treecko before pausing to store the rest in her bag.

Kiara calmed down when she realized it was just Colin being weird again. She relaxed a little bit and stayed a the tail end of the group. She saw no need to speak, she would just be annoying if she did speak. Her Pichu simply huffed as the so called excitement turned out to be the dude that was supposed to be helping them. Saix did not like the dude very much, he seemed shady. The pichu did not trust people easily and was pretty much over protective of Kiara. The pokemon resorted to playing rock, paper, scissors with his tiny paws as much as he could with his few fingers.

After another while of walking -what seemed like hours but may have only been mere minutes- Colin froze, hearing a rustle in the bushes. Tammie having been focusing on Twayblade had not heard the rustle but nodded to the older person, following his instructions as he motioned for them to hide. Perhaps it was the better option not to startle the creature.

As the leaves parted, the cause of the noise was revealed to be none other than the final Pokemon they were searching for. It's body dripped with odd fluids and it's flesh looked like it was ready to just fall apart. The zombie Seedot, affected by one of the many plagues to sweep across the lands, wandered out into the clearing.

Kiara kept herself from yelling upon seeing the seedot, as to not startle it. This was the first plagued pokemon she had encountered, she was unsure of how to handle such a creature.
Saix on the other hand, leaped into action. He struggled free of his trainer's arms and leaped into the clearing in front of the strange green seedot. He smirked as electricity cackled all around him from his round red cheeks. He awaited his trainer's call to attack, but she was paralyzed in fear. It was lucky though, as the seedot closed its eyes and seemed to focus, using a bide attack!

Despite Kiara's fear, Tammie and Colin both remained rather calm in the situation. Tammie had never encountered a plagued Pokemon before either, but she knew that as long as they stayed clear everything would be fine.

Colin meanwhile took action. With a quick pull of the trigger and a small 'pew' sound from under his breath, he had shot the zombie Seedot with a tranquiliser dart. The dart took a few seconds to take effect, but before the Seedot could even think about completing it's Bide attack it had fallen asleep.
"Another one bites the dust," grinned Colin, content that the Seedot was no longer a danger and trying to make light of the situation. He then rose the tranquiliser gun to his face and blew away a breath of imaginary smoke from the gun's mouth.

Saix seemed upset about this Colin person stealing his thunder. He turned and glared at Colin, his ears were lower than usual and electric sparks danced off of his cheeks to the ground around him as he resisted the urge to punish the human.
Kiara picked up her pichu once more, "S-Sorry!" she apologized before taking out a pokeball and finally returning the pichu. She laughed nervously as she pocketed the pokeball and spoke, "S-So I guess that's all of them...?" She looked nervously at them, were they mad at her for not controlling her pichu? Did they think she was useless considering her Pichu did all the work without her saying a word to it?

"I believe so," replied Colin, Tammie flashing him and Kiara small smiles. Colin quickly whistled again, signaling for his Yanmega to come and collect the final Pokemon. Taiga obliged and took the Seedot without hesitation, wanting to get rid of it quickly so she didn't get hurt by the zombie pokemon.
"Be careful Taiga," warned Colin, giving his partner Pokemon an oran berry to carry back to the clearing with her.

Tammie looked to Colin, "So I guess we should all be heading back too?" she blinked. Colin nodded.
"Hopefully Sarah will have cooled off a bit now we recovered all the pokemon."

The young girl simply nodded when the other had asked if they should be heading back, agreeing with wanting to know the answer to the question. She put the pokeball containing her rebellious pichu in her pocket, wondering how she was ever going to get it to obey her. She just did not understand why the small thing seemed to be this way. Sometimes he listened and sometimes he did not, but he would always be there to protect her...she hoped. She finally got up the courage to speak, "So...we go now right?" She hoped she hadn't just asked a stupid question, but she had said it so quietly she doubted someone heard her.
