Sun Set Swablu
It seems SILPH has been messing around with changing pokemon...this swablu escaped the lab and is now wandering around in Route 1! It has not been causing Issues, but it seems scared and the person reporting it would like someone nice to catch the poor thing. It seems to know the move Morning Sun for some odd reason.
Restrictions: NEVER attack the pokemon EVER!
If you roll this pokemon, PLEASE notify the head admin, Kat

| Leveling
Leveling up is easy: Nuzlocke Characters: 1 Page gets you one level for one Pokémon. Normal Characters: 2 Pages gets you one level for one Pokémon.
If you're a normal character and you finish a thread with an odd number of pages, the pages will carry over. Think of it as every pokemon needs 1 page to level up. In one thread you can have 3 pages while in another you have have 1 page and it will add up to 4 pages, leaving you with 4 levels to be distributed to any of your pokemon.
A page does NOT count unless it has a full 15 posts!
Battling
~Moves and Abilities~ A Pokémon is limited to 4 moves. If it knows a move, and has four moves, it must forget a move to replace the old one. Pokémon will learn moves like they would in the games. If a move is learned at level 26, then the Pokémon would learn the move at level 26. TM or tutor moves would have to be taught to a Pokémon, ect. There is no PP, but moves that have less usually have less PP will wear the user out more that a move like tackle. Egg Moves can be taught to Pokémon by other player's Pokémon that know the move. For example, if you want your Ponyta to learn Heat wave, you'll have to find someone who's Pokémon knows heat wave. That Pokémon's trainer can choose to charge or teach for free.
Abilities are a bit different: Every Pokémon has all of their natural abilities, but dream world abilities are different. If you want the dreamworld ability you will have to sacrifice the natural abilities. If your abilities negate each other, such as Riolu's Steadfast(Raises speed every time Pokémon flinches) and Inner Focus(prevents flinches) you can choose between one each battle.
~Move Combinations~ Every turn (one post in a battle) your Pokémon can use 2 moves. Only one can be used to damage your opponent, meaning you can use other moves to assist such as combining Fury Attack with Peck to try and make Fury Attack slightly stronger but Peck isn't attacing the opponent. Moves that take two turns in-game are an exception. Using them will limit you to only be able to use that move for a turn. Moves that require a turn to cool down (like Hyper Beam) limit that turn to one attack, and one attack on the next turn. Items and switching take up a whole turn.
~Battle Rules~ In a battle, you may only dodge attacks twice in a row before taking a hit, and you should be reasonable about it. If staff find you dodging too much, they may PM you to take more hits. Attacks that always hit will, in fact, always hit and cannot be dodged, only negated by another attack. Negating an attack also counts as dodging.
Base stats are your friends and guidelines. If you know which base stats are the highest and lowest for a Pokémon, you can enhance a role-play battle. A Zoroark will be fast but won't take many hits, and a Darmanitan that isn't in Zen Mode probably won't pull off a good Flamethrower attack.
Finally, the most important rule is that you cannot say if an attack hits. Your opponent gets to decide that. They get to dodge or be hit, and then they may attack you and you do the same thing. No "Pikachu used Thunderbolt, the lightning striking Bulbasaur", but instead "Pikachu used Thunderbolt, attempting to strike Bulbasaur."
Evolving Pokémon that evolve in certain areas in previous games are evolved differently in this region. The scientists have discovered a way to harness what makes the pokemon evolve in certain areas, and turn it into items so trainers don't have to cross regions just to evolve a pokemon!
Mossy Pebble: A pebble of a crushed Mossy Stone, it looks like a rock covered in moss. Evolves Eevee into Leafeon when Eevee is at MAX Happiness.
Icy Shard: A shard of a crushed Icy Rock, it looks like a rock covered in a coat of ice that will never melt. Evolves Eevee into Glaceon when Eevee is at MAX Happiness.
Coronet Stone: A stone that originated in Mt. Coronet, it looks like an ordinary rock with a slight tint of orange. Evolves Magneton into Magnezone and Nosepass into Probopass when they are at MAX Happiness
To make your Pokémon eligible for evolution when needed through happiness, you must have your Pokémon featured in 5 complete threads. When ready to evolve, message a mod/admin with a link to your 5 threads and they will give you permission to evolve your Pokémon.
Pokémon that evolve with items under a certain time of day, evolve while trading, and level up must also meet the requirements before evolving.
Stations
Stations are neutral buildings that test a trainer's strength. If the leader is beaten, the leader will give you a stamp(and a card if it's the first gym) even if you're SILPH. These stamps will allow you to pass through areas and carry a certain amount of pokemon with you each route. <Once your character has beaten every even number of gyms(2,4,6 and 8)please post in request an admin to get the next area available to you. Characters that you make after that character can NOT go to the next district without the required amount of stamps. If the character that made the areas visible to you dies, you will remain the rank that will allow you to see those areas.>
SEEK and SILPH aren't going to let you run around nilly-willy with a full team of robotic/plagued pokemon. You can only have 3 pokemon in each thread up until you get your first Stamp. You can still catch pokemon and choose which one for each thread, but you must remain with that pokemon only the entire thread.
0 stamps = 3 pokemon 1 stamp= 4 pokemon 2 stamps= 5 pokemon 3 stamps= 6 pokemon 4 stamps= 6 pokemon 5 stamps= 6 pokemon |
