| Encountering/BitesIn this plague infected world, there are several different types of plagues you will encounter, and even some robots. Each plague/bot has its own advantages and disadvantages, and some are more common than the others. To encounter a plagued/bot pokemon, you must roll the "Plague" die along with the normal encounter die. The plague die will determine what plague the encounter pokemon is infected with, or what robot. The plague/bots will do a special kind of harm to your pokemon through just being rolled. For a simpler term we shall call this "Bites". Any pokemon that has reached the bite limit WILL die(or faint for characters not in Nuzlocke mode). Each type has a different limit of bites and the level of the pokemon adds on to how many bites they can take. "Bites" are when the infected pokemon attack your pokemon with a Physical Move, it counts as a "Bite" once per battle. Please keep track of your bites ^^ Also, your Bite Count will reset after every thread. Plague die: [roll="Plague"][/ roll] (Remove space)
Encounter Die: [roll="Insert Name of Area Here"][/ roll] (Remove Space)
- TYPES OF POKEMON AND THEIR RESISTANCE:
1. Normal Pokémon Can withstand 10 bites
2. Fire Pokémon Can withstand 10 bites
3. Water Pokémon Can withstand 8 bites
4. Electric Pokémon Can withstand 10 bites
5. Grass Pokémon Can withstand 10 bites
6. Ice Pokémon Can withstand 15 bites
7. Fighting Pokémon Can withstand 13 bites
8. Poison Pokémon Can withstand 25 bites
9. Ground Pokémon Can withstand 15 bites
10. Flying Pokémon Can withstand 10 bites
11. Psychic Pokémon Can withstand 15 bites
12. Bug Pokémon Can withstand 5 bites
13. Rock Pokémon Can withstand 20 bites
14. Ghost Pokémon Can withstand 25 bites
15. Dragon Pokémon Can withstand 20 bites
16. Dark Pokémon Can withstand 15 bites
17. Steel Pokémon Can withstand 20 bites
1 level adds 1 bite to the base. So a Steelix level 20 would be able to take 40 bites. Pokemon with two types will take on the resistance of their first type, like a Scyther is bug and flying but the first type is BUG so it would take on the resistance of a BUG.
So the formula for the total your pokemon can take is Base+Level=Total.
- Types of Plagues:
>>Zombie<< A zombie cannot feel pain, it can have missing limbs and sometimes have sickly green patches and tend to salivate. Since it cannot feel pain, it's attack is raised. It has a higher sense of hearing and smell. If bitten by one, +1 Bite Value will be added to your pokemon.
>>Vampires<< Vamps tend to have very rough skin. If its species had any fur or feathers, they'd lose it upon turning. Reptilian or Dragon pokemon may shed some of their scales. Fangs are grown, often protruding the mouth. They look very pale with ruby eyes. Very agile and sneaky. They are immune to dark attacks, but are weak against water. They have keen sense of smell. If bitten by one, you are given +2 Bite Values to your pokemon.
>>Cursed<< Cursed are grayscale in color. They are often somewhat 'misty' in appearance, and can easily be mistaken for a mirage or a hallucination. They have purple, glowing eyes and aura that deliver a sinister vibe. Able to speak with the dead, they are more intelligent than others and can predict your moves by speaking with the watching souls. They are not barbaric. Often, they don't attack unless provoked. They have the tendency to cause mischief, often messing with unfortunate passers-by. They have higher special attack and defense, and are very weak to dark type moves If Bitten by one your pokemon gains +2 Bite Values.
>>Feral<< Larger than but similar to Zombies, they are extremely fast and have a higher attack and defense. They tend to have a simpler thought process and attack everything that moves or shows signs of life. If bitten by one, add +3 Bite Values.
>>Corrupted<< Corrupted are a force to be reckoned with. Under no circumstances should you ever face one. They are similar to cursed in appearance, having grayed to pitch black bodies and bright ruby eyes. They are much, much bigger than their species. They have high attack and special attack. When spotting one nearby, immediately block out as much noise as possible. Corrupteds are able to speak with the dead, but on more morbid terms than Cursed. They always mutter incomprehensible incantations, which will more or less give you headaches or hallucinations. They are immortal, as not one method of killing them has been found yet. The only way to escape is to run or to drive it away using a Cursed pokemon or a skilled Psychic type. Being bitten will add +5 Bite Values. These pokemon CANNOT be caught!
- Types of Bots:
>>SWEEPbot<< Agile, light, and packed with the quickest weaponry, Sweepbots live up to their name. They can maneuver as quick as an average car, possibly quicker or slower depending on the weight of the pokemon they were based off of. They don't attack well as their primary purpose is to obliterate large numbers of weak zombies as quick as possible. +1 Bite Value when attacked
>>ATTACKbot<< Special attack and Attack are raised. These robots are made primarily for attacking opponents and destroying large swarms. However, in exchange for their impressive offense, these pokemon are not as heavy-armored as others. Although these are mainly given special weaponry to imitate their original species, they may still contain military weapons. Be silent around these, as distance probably won't save you. Being attacked by one will add +2 Bite Values
>>TANKbot<< Special defense and Defense are raised. Made to withstand harsh climates and even harsher attacks, these robots will be hard to take down. Their tough armor causes them to move slower than the other models. Even with their speed, these artificial pokemon can break more than your teeth in one swing. Be careful and watch your step, as a single blind spot at the wrong time could be your end. An attack from this will add on +3 Bite Values
>>TRANSFORMbot<< These robots have the highest technology available. They can transform to switch from Attack-based, Defense-based, or Speed-based. Their high diversity in modes and weaponry along with their special A.I. make them a foe worthy of fear. They cannot be captured and attack anything that looks suspicious. +5 Bite Values
However, the plague die is OPTIONAL, unless the area you're in is announced infected or are playing Nuzlocke mode. Two areas on the entire forum can only be infected at a time. If you're in an infected area, you MUST roll the dice for plague pokemon. Plague pokemon can be caught, but they are dangerous if you're not careful with them. Nuzlocke mode REQUIRES you to roll the die for every encounter.CaptureIf your character is in NUZLOCKE mode, you can ONLY catch the first pokemon you see in an area(For mercenaries in Nuzlocke mode, if you roll an infected pokemon it will not count as the first pokemon you encounter until you roll a normal pokemon). Characters that aren't in Nuzlocke mode are free to catch pokemon as they please, but normal characters tend to not make as much money as nuzlocke characters. ONLY REBEL TRAINERS CAN CATCH PLAGUED POKEMON. There are only 3 types of pokeballs: Pokeball(30% Chance of Capturing) [roll="Pokeball"][/ roll] Greatball(55% Chance of Capturing) [roll="Greatball"][/ roll] Ultraball(80% Chance of Capturing) [roll="Ultraball"][/ roll] (Remove spaces)
The results of these pokeballs are decided through Dice. The codes for the dice are below the corresponding pokeball above. NOTE: Plagued pokemon and pokemon bought from the shop are unruly and are DEFINITELY going to cause your trainer issues in terms of obedience.
Pokemon are the same level as your pokemon, up until you reach level 30(EXCEPT Evolved ones. Evolved pokemon are the same level they are needed to be evolved, have fun running ^^). Once you reach level 30, you must roll a die for the pokemon you capture. The die determines what level the pokemon you caught is, the results are 1-30. This is to add difficulty to the game. The die: [roll="Level"][/ roll] (remove space) Also: Catching evolved wild pokemon is ILLEGAL in this region. Catching evolved wild pokemon is banned. If you catch a wild pokemon that is evolved it will be deleted and you will not get the pokeballs spent on it back. If a evolved wild pokemon is the first encounter for a nuzlocke character it will not count until a first stage pokemon appears. If your character is a SILPH trainer and encounters a bot pokemon as their first encounter it will also not count, same goes for SEEK and plague pokemon.
